Another picture of a radical resection of Rectal cancer in our colo rectal cancer surgery series. Locally advanced recto sigmoid growth invading small bowel. Enbloc resection of rectum, a part large bowel & a short segment of small bowel was resected to take out the tumour completely. This is the role of Surgical oncologist in cancer treatment.
